About Semone Harris

Dear Sir/Madame, My experience ranges from the Medical Field, to Administration and Customer Service. Particularly, the responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Assistant role included collecting blood specimens, using macro and micro phlebotomy techniques, sorting specimens, transporting and receiving specimens, and performing limited testing procedures such as specialized plating and urinalysis. I documented daily activities, assisted with inventory, dealt with reports, and supported the orientation of new staff, co-workers and clients. In addition, I was required to operate computers to input and analyze data, as well as maintain, trouble shoot and calibrate instruments. Lastly, and certainly not the least, I have used quality control procedures to maintain equipment and ensured laboratory policies and procedures are being followed. To conclude, I am always striving to learn and acquire new or challenging experiences, ultimately ensuring that I will be a contributing member to an established team. I look towards excelling within the Medical Field given my extensive passion, empathy, professionalism, decisiveness, knowledge of the relevant terminology, common practices, and working experience.
