About Sen Li

Hi, my name is Sen. Living in Sydney, with a passion for software engineering and developing strategies that will bring a significant improvement in the real world. I completed my Bachelors in Computer Science and Master's in Information Technology, where I learnt courses related to software development skills and programming. My Master’s focused on the core computer science, including Full-stack development, machine learning and database implementation where I worked on projects that replicate industry experiences. As a recent graduate with a passion for data, I am really excited to share my experiences and knowledge in the field of data. My skill set encompasses a diverse range of programming languages, including JAVA, Python, SQL, and C++, along with good knowledge in clouding computing service including AWS and Microsoft Azure. Moreover, I also gained hands-on experience like ETL pipeline, SQL Server Management Studio, Snowflake, and CI/CD frameworks like TeamCity and Octopus in my last contract job at Bizcover, which has given me the ability to develop efficient and automated data pipelines, and the job refining my communication and problem-solving skills. One of my most rewarding experiences was working on SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) Solution AWS project. SOAR aimed to achieve Automated Configuration remediations and Critical Monitoring via our web application, which is a simple user interface that displays how our users have chosen to be compliant or non compliant (reconfigure the non compliant resource by writing lambda functions) with best practices. I actively participated in the product's architectural design and contributed to the development of essential lambda functions. During this project, I’ve gained an amount of knowledge in AWS. Besides that, I’m self-taught on Microsoft Azure. As for my future, I hope to soon work as a software engineer or Data engineer.
