About Seona Ames

I bring a diverse background in marketing, art, business, construction, and app development to my current role in IT. My career journey has been unconventional but deeply rewarding. Starting in college, I envisioned running a creative business, inspired by my passion for 2D painting and hands-on artistry. Technology felt like a surprising destination, but it’s where I discovered how to combine creativity with problem-solving. Early in my career, I earned my cosmetology license and worked as a hair stylist and nail technician. This role taught me invaluable skills: connecting quickly with strangers, building trust under pressure, and mastering new tools with precision and consistency. After completing my Bachelor's degree, I turned my focus to business model development and project management, with a special interest in B2B growth and marketing strategies. My curiosity about CRMs and human-centered design grew during my time as a playground construction project manager, where I found myself drawn to understanding and improving technology workflows. With guidance from family members in IT, I transitioned into my first Business Analyst role, where I realized my project management experience aligned naturally with technology and process optimization. Today, I’m a Scrum Master at Quantum, where I help teams overcome challenges, stay focused, and achieve self-sufficiency. Quantum’s mission to support patients through their toughest health care moments resonates deeply with me and keeps me motivated every day. As a Scrum Master, I thrive on coaching teams, resolving issues, and fostering trust. This role aligns perfectly with my personal values, and I’m committed to continuous learning to better serve my team, my company, and my own curiosity for knowledge.
