About Sepideh Alvandi

An International Medical Graduate with a strong passion in helping people in their needs, I bring four years of experience as a Health Care Manager and solo practitioner in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine in Iran, mostly in the critical time of Covid-19 pandemic. My focus has been on Acute Care, Emergency Management and Trauma, where I have also conducted micro-surgeries within my scope of practice. I have continuously engaged in clinical research across various critical care management and surgical fields since medical school, resulting in multiple publications with the goal of improving patient care. I am deeply passionate about helping and healing others and have been an active member of humanitarian organizations like the Canadian Red Cross. Driven by a strong feeling of attachment to the fields of Emergency Medicine, Trauma, and Trauma surgery, and a deep sense of compassion, I am actively seeking a residency position in my field of interest to merge my enthusiasm for hands-on skills with a particular emphasis on ensuring the mental health and well-being of patients in fast-paced environments and acute care. With a strong commitment to comprehensive patient care, I aim to leverage my diverse experiences in medical practice, research, and community engagement to positively impact the lives of people in the beautiful land of Canada with embracing its multicultural nature, diversity and equity
