I have been pursuing my career in the field of electric energy storage with a focus on lithium-ion batteries for 6+ years. During my Ph.D. I managed to develop the reverse pulse electrodeposition technique to obtain lithium manganese dioxide cathode material. I also have gained experience in the various electrodeposition techniques to obtain inorganic/organic energy storage materials mainly as conformal thin films. Currently, as a senior battery researcher, I am working on enabling lithium-ion batteries with enhanced cycle life by taking advantage of nanocoatings on the cathodic and anodic active materials.
