About Sera Flewelling

As a recently graduated Geography student and certified Professional Geoscientist, I am passionate about environmental sustainability, urban/rural planning, and community outreach, and committed to making Renfrew County a better place for now and the future. With a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and a minor in Environmental Sustainability from Brock University, I have honed my skills in Geographic Information Systems, land use planning, and public relations. My academic journey has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of Environmental justice, women's/BIPOC empowerment, and The UN's Sustainable Development Goals and has prepared me to tackle challenges in environmental management and urban development. Throughout my education, I actively engaged in labs, seminars, presentations, and group projects/assignments to further expand my knowledge and practical experience. I thrive in collaborative environments and excel in time management, collaboration, and communication. Eager to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to the Environmental industry, I am seeking opportunities that align with my values and aspirations.
