Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), clinical leader, and mental health professional with over a decade of progressive experience across child and youth mental health, trauma-informed care, violence against women services, intensive community programming, and system-level clinical operations.I hold dual Master’s degrees (MSW in Mental Health and MBA), alongside advanced training in CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and trauma-informed clinical practice. My work has spanned hospital, court, school, and community mental health settings, supporting children, youth, adults, and families experiencing developmental, emotional, behavioural, and psychiatric distress.Currently working in senior clinical leadership, I specialize in clinical governance, operational leadership, interdisciplinary team management, program development, quality improvement, and cross-sector systems integration. I am particularly passionate about strengthening service delivery models that are equitable, evidence-informed, trauma-responsive, and operationally sustainable.Throughout my career, I have led complex clinical portfolios, built strategic partnerships across sectors, implemented innovative mental health programming, and supported teams through organizational transformation and change management. My leadership style is collaborative, accountable, and deeply grounded in anti-oppressive and client-centered practice.I was honoured to receive the 2024 RBC Young leadership award, the 2019 U.A.E National Anti-Bullying Award under the Counsellor Category, conferred by the U.A.E Supreme Council of Motherhood & Childhood and UNICEF U.A.E, as well as being selected as the 2016 CEO1Month winner with Adecco Middle East.Alongside clinical leadership, I bring strong expertise in strategic planning, project management, stakeholder engagement, impact evaluation, participatory planning, and qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.I am driven by a commitment to advancing accessible, ethical, and transformative mental health systems, particularly for children, youth, families, and marginalized communities while building high-performing teams that create meaningful and measurable impact.
