Software Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development and 14+ years in the broader IT domain, bringing a strong blend of technical depth, system thinking, and business awareness. Throughout my career, I have contributed to the design and delivery of robust, scalable systems across well-established organizations such as Agile Actors, Allwyn, ProBank SA, and Western Union in Greece.I currently work as a Principal Software Engineer at Agile Actors (Athens), where I lead and mentor software teams, shape technical direction, and help deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions for complex business environments. My focus is on building maintainable architectures, promoting engineering excellence, and leveraging modern technologies to create real business value.In recent years, I have been actively embracing AI-powered tools and workflows as a natural evolution of modern software engineering. I am intentionally “onboarding the AI train” — exploring and applying AI to boost productivity, improve code quality, accelerate analysis and decision-making, and enhance the overall software development lifecycle. I strongly believe that engineers who learn to collaborate effectively with AI will define the next generation of high-impact teams, and I continuously experiment with ways to integrate these capabilities into my daily work and leadership practices.I am passionate about the full software lifecycle — from understanding business needs and translating them into technical solutions, to guiding teams through implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement.
