About Seraphim Chemodakov
Working and serving as a parish priest for 15 years has led me to enter the mental health counseling field. I specialize in, and counsel children, adolescents, and adult individuals, as well as with couples and families. Parallel to this, I implement psychotherapy into a pastoral counseling role in a religious/church setting. I currently work as a mental health specialist at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (Freehold, NJ) as well as seeing a limited caseload in a private clinic. In addition, I am pursuing a PhD in Marriage and family Therapy at Eastern University at St. Davids in PA. Recently, a colleague and I founded our new soon-to-be private practice - Healing Waters Counseling and Wellness, LLC.
