I am a government contract specialist currently employed by BT Group. I have fifteen years post graduate work experience within finance, including twelve years working in management accounting. During my time in finance, I developed my analytical and accounting skills as well as business partnering. With my advanced excel skills, I am able to produce financial models and accurately work with large datasets. I can interrogate and manipulate large datasets with the use of pivot tables and various formulae. I have excellent numerical, written and analytical skills. I have a high level of attention to detail and an analytical mind. I use an organised yet flexible approach to work which enables me to work to tight deadlines and/or take on ad hoc tasks. I display strong interpersonal and communication skills. I have spent the last few years working in the commercial team, where I have expanded my commercial mindset, gaining a greater understanding of the importance of client relations and contracts. I have further developed my strategic analysis skills with an investigative and methodical approach to problem-solving.
