About Sereena Vaja

I have worked since I was young, which I think reflects in my confident and positive attitude to work and life that I carry today. From floristry work to psychological researching, I have found along the way I am efficient and quick in my learning; I am keen to learn new things and keep current in my knowledge. Currently I am undergoing a placement year at a relationships charity called OnePlusOne as a junior research assistant. Here I have learnt the importance of communication and teamwork in ensuring projects are completed with precision and efficiency. In my short time with this company, I have undergone training on data analysis, written and published an article on their website about my research, and written literature reviews on vital research used in the company for their interventions and local authorities. Before this opportunity, I worked in retail, where I learnt the important skill of customer service. I built on my confidence and professionality in this role, which has allowed me to articulate my ideas and opinions well in a business setting.
