Background

About Serena Arness

I recently graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania’s school of Social Policy and Practice. I have experience with individual psychotherapy, assessment, crisis intervention, and grant writing. I draw upon several modalities in my work with clients including psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, all through a trauma-informed lens and while being mindful of the intersectionality of our identities. I absolutely love working with and inspiring others. I am looking to combine this passion and my recent education with my love for photography and videography. I envision using my creative skills to assist people, brands, and organizations in meeting their needs, such as creating media that embodies their mission, advertises their services, and helps them generate new revenue.
