About Serena Frasca

As a child, my favorite game was recruiting my friends for cosmetic test trials. Little did I know back then that mixing shampoo with face cream wouldn’t exactly cure (nonexistent) skin issues in seven-year-old "patients." Although my mom eventually forbade me from accessing her cosmetics drawer, my passion for formulation and science remained. This passion has since guided me toward earning my degree in Pharmaceutical Science. As an insatiable learner, I quickly recognized the opportunity that a PhD in Material Sciences presented: gaining valuable insights into product development and sustainable materials. After four years, I gained far more than I could have ever expected - both personally and professionally. I learned that I can successfuly manage projectts within given time constraints, adapt to challenges, and deliver results. I am driven by a mindset of continuous improvement, always striving to expand my knowledge and enhance my interpersonal skills. I am passionate about transforming ideas into tangible materials, leveraging my pharmaceutical and engineering expertise to create innovative products that enhance people's quality of life. My dream is to work as a project manager, where I can combine my love for leading and supporting teams with my enthusiasm for both creative and technical projects.
