About Serena Joyce

I’m a communications professional with over 15 years of experience in public relations, brand strategy, media engagement, and event delivery. I’ve worked across both agency and in-house roles, supporting a range of consumer, lifestyle, and corporate clients.Currently based in Dublin and working with Teneo, I support communications for clients including Airbnb, Re-turn, and Peter Mark, with a focus on brand visibility, media relations, and stakeholder engagement. I also work on the Value of Beauty Alliance campaign, collaborating with teams in Brussels and Paris, and have contributed to internal communications for McDonald’s alongside colleagues in the UK.Before Teneo, I held the position of head of brand and marketing for Thérapie Clinic Group, working across three brands. I also spent three years as Senior Press and Marketing Officer at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, where I managed campaigns for large-scale touring productions like The Lion King, Wicked, and War Horse.I’m particularly interested in communications that support brand growth and long-term reputation, especially in the beauty, lifestyle, and cultural sectors. I enjoy working with teams to identify opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and shape campaigns that help brands connect with the right audiences and grow their presence in meaningful ways.I hold a B.A. from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and an M.A. in Public Relations from Dublin Institute of Technology.
