About Serena Kramer

Empowering Others. Advancing Change. After years of teaching, mentoring, and building curriculum, I’ve stepped away from the classroom to focus fully on advocacy, emotional healing, and systemic change. This new chapter blends my lifelong commitment to empowering others with a deeper drive to support individuals and communities in meaningful, sustainable ways. With a career spanning advertising, public relations, education, and music, I’ve learned how to connect with people through both structure and emotion. I believe our most meaningful work emerges when we integrate our lived experience, creative voice, and professional skillset. My goal is still the same: to foster connection, courage, and personal growth. What I bring: • 15+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, teaching, coaching, and managing online education, elevating students in music production and graphic design • Proudly helped several students win American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) at The Los Angeles American Advertising Awards from 2019 to 2025 by guiding them in advertising concepts • 12 years of expertise in corporate and nonprofit communications, with an eye toward justice-centered messaging • 9 years as a professional calligrapher, collaborating with brands and performing at live events at Jimmy Choo, Versace, Kessler Hotels, Disney, Microsoft events, and providing calligraphy for boutique ad agencies • Two Bachelor’s Degrees: one in Advertising & Public Relations, and another in Music Currently pursuing my MSW at the University of Georgia, I’m especially drawn to advancing justice, promoting well-being, and uplifting communities through advocacy and evidence-informed care. My work centers on empowering others to navigate change with courage and compassion. When I'm not exploring the terrain of social work, you’ll find me dipping pen into ink, composing the occasional moody melody, or hiking forest trails with my two furry Cavalier sidekicks (they answer to Nutmeg and Gingi, and yes, they’re the real stars here).
