Adaptable Leadership in action. My name is Serena Luk, and I am a 1st year student at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University intending to pursue majors in International Business and management with a minor in Philosophy. I am an active member of the Social Enterprise Engagement Club at Kelley, the International Business Association, Kelley Student Government, and the Model United Nations Club. My background in roles such as Student Government Treasurer, service club president, and representative to the district board of education have helped me develop a passion for and build skills in collaboration and organizational leadership. Coming from the Bay Area in California, I chose to expand my horizons at a top-ranked business school, seeking a diverse learning environment that challenges and inspires me. I am passionate about bringing creativity and adaptability to collaborative environments where I can uniquely contribute to shared goals. I am strongly grounded by my commitment to fostering community wherever I go. I thrive in situations where there are many opportunities for collaboration and open-minded interactions. My personal values, skills, and interests around flexibility, understanding, collaboration, leadership, and efficiency can complement organizations who are looking for individuals aligned with a vision for a welcoming, supportive and productive working environment. My short term goals are to gain valuable and diversified experiences through Indiana University and industry internships that will enhance my exposure to various disciplines and skill sets. My long term goals after college are to join an organization that values interdisciplinary perspectives, develops and retains employees, pushes and supports my personal development, and drives positive and engaging community impact.
