About Serena Waters

I am passionate about conducting thorough research to enable others to better understand the world. I have ample experience researching Japan, China, South Korea, and the wider Asian region. My previous roles and research experiences have focused on the nexus of economics, politics, and the environment. I have analyzed energy policy, the Belt and Road Initiative, economic development, and influence campaigns, among other topics. Through my coursework, I gained familiarity with Excel, SPSS, and STATA. I desire to bring my personal and professional regional focus and research experiences to an organization where I can help policymakers and stakeholders make informed decisions. With a Master of International Studies and as a self-motivated team player with strong communication skills, I hope to share my passion and knowledge and become an integral member of my next team.
