OVERFLOW ENGINEERING, VALE My most recent undertaking is with the Vale Overflow Engineering program as Project Manager and Lead Designer. I led a team of well experienced designers and engineers on various mining related projects. The BESTECH scope included providing engineering services for all disciplines based on the project’s needs. I was directly involved with the overall design for each of these projects. As Project Manager, I was responsible for reporting the project status, costs as well as managing the overall project expectations as well as helping from a technical standpoint where required. VARIOUS SMELTER PROJECTS, GLENCORE I led a team of well experienced designers and engineers on various projects. The BESTECH scope included providing engineering services for various electrical, instrumentation and automation projects. HOISTING PLANT BASIC ENGINEERING, KGHM This project began as the basic engineering stage and progressed to the detailed phase. I led a team of well experienced designers and engineers. The BESTECH scope included all the electrical and minor mechanical systems relating to the plant. I was directly involved with the overall design. As Project Manager, I was responsible for reporting the project status, costs as well as managing the overall project expectations. FRASER MORGAN DETAILED ENGINEERING PROJECT, GLENCORE Acting as Project Manager, I led a team of well experienced designers and engineers on this $7M project up to its completion. The BESTECH scope included all the components of power distribution, electrical control, mechanical/civil designs, automation, programming and commissioning of Fraser Morgan and surrounding infrastructure. I was directly involved with the overall design and provided high level technical expertise for the remaining mine systems from an electrical perspective.
