About Serge Chavez

I’m a recent graduate of California State University, East Bay, where I earned a B.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. While in school, I held leadership roles that helped me develop strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills—qualities I bring into every team I join. I recently completed the COOP Data Analytics Fellowship and earned the Google Data Analytics Certificate. Through hands-on projects, I built experience in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and data storytelling—translating insights into strategies that support smarter decisions. In my capstone project, I served as an Inventory & Viewability Analyst, where I monitored campaign KPIs, flagged performance issues, and contributed to strategic recommendations aimed at improving brand and media performance. I’m currently exploring opportunities to pursue full-time roles in data analytics, product/project coordination, and sales development (SDR/BDR)—across industries I’m passionate about, especially tech, sports, and entertainment. I value growth, collaboration, curiosity, positivity, and kindness—and strive to bring those values into every team and challenge I’m part of. I pride myself on being able to communicate clearly across teams, translate data into action, and bring energy into fast-paced environments. Outside of work, I enjoy bartending, cutting hair—especially fades and tapers, playing basketball, training like an athlete, cooking, and hiking. I also hope to travel more in the future as a way to learn, connect with different cultures, and grow both personally and professionally. Whether I’m solving business problems or behind the bar, I bring curiosity, energy, and a drive to grow every day.
