About Serge Dalessandro

I am a senior executive with a 25-year experience in financial industries such as consulting, retail banking, investment banking, insurance and insurance brokerage. Over the past ten years, as a member of the Executive Committee, I have orchestrated the growth of Ascoma, the leading independent insurance broker in Sub-Saharan Africa, until it was bought in 2021 by Chedid Capital, one of the main Middle East brokers. In between, the geographic coverage expanded from 12 to 20 countries, the turnover was doubled and the Ebitda tripled. This was such an unconventional context: a family-owned company with headquarter in Monaco and business in Africa that has taught so much to me! All the skills and the issues you’ve known previously in a big company like strategy, transformation program, change management, IT overhaul, HR recruiting and training, financial capacity, governance, suddenly became so tangible and specific! I’m fond of history, chess game, languages and linguistics, and I acquired a great mastery of the most useful languages in business organizations: Finance and IT!
