About Sergey Glukhov

After graduating from the Institute of Asian and African countries my major field of interest is development of defense industry complexes of the developed countries and mechanisms of their political leverage. During 1990s I worked in investment and banking sphere with Sector Capital, Columbus Capital and Interros, JSC. Completed projects include- assistance with successful access of Lafarge (later Stern Cement)- creation of large holding companies in cement and food processing industries- foundation of supermarket network- raising investments. In I took charge of Audit Firm “Aval”. That was the first experience in implementation of Six Sigma. Aval became auditor for Surgutneftegaz. In 2004 I was appointed CEO of the United Consultants FDP, JSC. During my term as CEO FDP was ranked 4th largest consulting company in Russia. In 2003 I've completed ASQ-certified Six Sigma Black Belt program with MoreSteam University. Russian Association Six Sigma was founded that same year, as well as Corporation Six Sigma consulting company. The following years I’ve dedicated to running the public awareness campaign and promotion of Six Sigma concepts in Russia, training Green and Black Belts for the largest Russian and international companies. I invited BMGI to become a deployment partner in Russia and launched some of the largest Six Sigma deployments in Russia: at ROSTAR plant in Dmitrov (Rusal), Alfabank, Sberbank. At the same time I was instrumental in the development of innovative and investment development programs for several Russian regions, including Chechen Republic, Ingushetiya, Yaroslavl and Irkutsk regions. I’m an author of original Lean Six Sigma accelerated training curriculum - Turbo Lean Six Sigma – that allows to train qualified Six Sigma professionals faster, while providing the necessary applied skills of management and implementation of Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
