I started my career as a software engineer in the early For 15 years I worked in the IT industry at organizations ranging from unknown early-stage startups and kids’ coding bootcamps to Silicon Valley scale-ups and big-tech giants. During that time I wore both engineering and product-management hats, until I realized I needed to scratch my entrepreneurial itch and build something impactful. One of those experiments became Singing Carrots. I’ve always been drawn to music, and since childhood that passion has pushed me to compose, perform, record, and improvise. When I began, I wasn’t very good at any of those things, and I learned the hard way that you can improve, even if you think you lack “talent.” Today I’m on a mission to debunk the myth that music is a luxury reserved for a chosen few.
