About Sergey Suyakov

Passionate electronics & control engineer who started with building his first Tesla coil project with embedded control of audio signal modulation because of a big interest in the mystery of power converter designs and magic of control systems programming. For my career, over 12 years, I earned strong technical experience and knowledge in solving difficult engineering tasks from industrial, measurement, medical, automotive and power management applications. I like to develop digital, analog, mixed signals embedded control systems, switching mode power converters, complex printed circuit board (multi-layer, flexible, high-frequency, high-current metal-based PCBs), embedded programming, creating engineering documentation, system integration, bringing up electronics to life and development from concept to production in accordance to regulation standards, technical requirements and project schedule. I have broad experience in design, programming and manufacturing of the electronics systems based on: FPGA (Xilinx, Intel/Altera), FPAA (Anadigm), AVR (Atmel), ARM (STMicroelectronics), Power Architecture (STMicroelectronics, NXP), DSP (Texas Instruments) and other components of digital processing and communication systems. Excellent practical skills in the design of printed circuit boards, developing and testing of the experimental test beds. My technical skills include: Design: control systems, mixed signals A/D circuits, data acquisition systems, switching mode DC/DC, DC/AC and AC/DC power converters, schematic capture, PCB design, offline and real-time simulations and modeling, system design, mechanical design.
