About Sergi Cuadrat

I will retire in a Net Zero world by 2050. To make it happen, my mission is to advance global climate solutions by leading multidisciplinary teams that design and implement GHG mitigation projects with environmental integrity and sustainable impact. Integrity is the value that guides my work ensuring transparency, fairness and trust at every step. Strategically, I focus on leveraging carbon markets through project development and implementation of both technological approaches (e.g, waste, renewables, cookstoves) and nature-based solutions (e.g, restoration, conservation, sustainable agriculture). For more than two decades, I have specialized in operationalizing carbon market frameworks under the Paris Agreement (Article 6), the Kyoto Protocol (CDM) and the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCS, GS, etc.), helping public and private actors unlock climate finance for the Global South. By bridging finance, technology and capacity building, I accelerate the implementation of innovative, equitable and cooperative climate action.
