As a Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Assistant at Mercy Corps, I contributed to the development and management of project databases, assisted in developing monitoring systems, and conducted data collection for assessments and evaluations. I supported the use of digital data collection for M&E purposes, generated quality evidence on program impacts, conducted regular monitoring visits and spot checks, and shared written reports on monitoring findings regularly. Additionally, I helped project teams with data collection and analysis and coordinated with other project teams and M&E staff to align databases. I provided technical support with CommCare and Microsoft software, helped with data cleaning, and created visuals using PowerBi. As an International Basketball Referee for FIBA, I ensured a fair play according to the rules and laws of basketball sport, maintaining an effective working relationship with competitors and others and communicating effectively. I dealt with critical situations by giving a fair judgment to each situation and linking it with the rules, created reports about games and incidents, and solved any escalating situations under pressure. Additionally, as an ADHRB Legal and Advocacy Intern, I worked closely with the UN, documented cases, translated documentation from Arabic into English, drafted UN complaints, and attended virtual meetings with national and international bodies.
