About Sergio Maneus

Thanks to my academic studies and my daily work, I have first-hand knowledge of many practical and theoretical aspects of sea and air transportation (FCL, LCL, import, export, DG, OT, FR, OOG, RF, BB). I also have knowledge regarding logistics and supply chain too. I am comfortable in any kind of situation, no matter how complex it may be. More than 15 years of experience inside the Customer Service field are behind me, having been a team coordinator and trainer in one of the leading companies at the time in Spain. I've been dealing with disputes, quality control, logistics and team management for a long time. I am currently a student of the Degree in International Relations at the UOC as an inevitable consequence of my passion for researching, analysing, understanding and getting to know what is happening in the world, why it is happening and what it means and will mean for us. Born and raised in Spain, my mother tongues are Catalan and Spanish. My knowledge of English allows me to speak, write and read it fluently. Recently I have been reading Henry Kissinger (On China) and Josephine Quinn (How the World Made the West). Very interested in the history, culture and food of Southeast Asia and China. I am also currently in my fourth year learning Mandarin Chinese at the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas (level B1.2). I strongly believe that Asia will be decisive in global development in the coming years, both socio-economically and culturally speaking. I also have a basic level of German and French.
