Accomplished Mechanical Civil Engineer with more than 20 years of professional experience, participating predominantly in underground mining projects in the design of mineral processing plants. Cultivated leadership by holding multiple positions as Head of Area in charge of all disciplines, Head of Mechanical Discipline-Layout, Engineering Coordinator, Mechanical Discipline Reviewer, and Project Engineer for the development of Multidisciplinary projects, from the Conceptual phase to the Details phase. Experienced in underground mining for the management of work teams, including technical knowledge for the calculation and sizing of equipment, mainly in Material Handling, such as: Conveyor Belts, Feeders, Chutes, Hoppers, and equipment selection; Crushers, Overhead Cranes, Compressors, Dust Control, HVAC systems, Screens, SAG Mill, Pebbles Crusher, amongst others. Knowledgeable of Stockpile Design, Plants with SAG Mills and Balls, as well as Truck Shop Design. Also, trained at the conceptual and basic engineering level of Leaching, Agitation-Thickening and Filtration plants. Outperformed in underground mining experience, participating in the PDA Phase I projects of Andina, overseeing the design and modification of the PT5 pit hopper, and participating in the optimization of the conveyor belt system of the Cordillera de Andina plant. Furthermore, assisted in the Oyu Tolgoi underground mining project, Mongolia, Nuevo Nivel Mina, and Desarrollo Futuro Andina Project of Codelco. Reviewed and edited multiple documents and drawings; Mechanical Design Criteria, Belts Calculation Memories, ventilation and pressurization, and dust collection, as well as, Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Technical Evaluations, Technical Reports, Ventilation Systems and Fire Protection (SPCI). Co-authored in the formulation of Layout for Copper and Iron Ore Production Plants; underground, open-pit and surface exploitation of Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Crushing Plants, Pre-Crushing Plants, Screening Plants, Overland-type Mineral Transport Belts, Flotation and Concentrate Treatment.
