About Sergio Taddia

Since graduating in mechanical engineering I have always worked in technical office to design and to calculate (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic). Today I’m the Technical Manager, so I manage the planning about design office and R&D, and also contacts with customers and suppliers. I have personally contributed to the renewal of the technical area, bringing from CAD2D (AutoCad) and intuitive design based only on test, to a modern organization that uses the CAD3D, FEM analysis, the instrumental validation checks, the management of technical documentation with the PDM, the planning of activities according to the principles of Project Management, all shared by the entire business system. This has allowed a significant reduction in development time and project costs related to an important renewal of the range of products, and the resolution of longstanding problems and apparently irremediable. I've just completed the Master in Business Administration (MBA) of Alma Graduate School, because I think that a manager must have an global overview of the company, to understand all the issues and above all the opportunities within the company and in market: the bigger difficulty and complexity must be addressed with current tools more effective and efficient, and this improvement must start from ourselves.
