About Sergio Virdis

I deal with design, construction management, interdisciplinary coordination and management of contracts in both the public and private sectors. The love for this job is fueled by the relationship with my colleagues, based daily on the mutual exchange of skills, doubts, ideas and enthusiasm. We live (and work) in a historical period that flows very quickly, which we couldn't keep up with without running alongside each other! Graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 2004, I collaborated with various design studios on various scales, including aMDL (architect Michele De Lucchi) with whom I developed my first skills in the field of large-scale works. In 2012 I founded the "studioMISTO" working group together with Michela Colasuonno, designing and directing residential renovations thanks to widespread collaboration with specialists from various disciplines. I also entered the field of public procurement on the occasion of EXPO2015, carrying out the role of Site Supervisor on behalf of the Thai Ministry of Agriculture (monitoring the design and construction process of the Thailand Pavilion. In 2016 my career began collaboration with Politecnica Engineering ed Architettura soc. coop, of which I have been a member since 2022.
