Background

About Serhii Bodnar

DevOps / SRE / DevSecOps / Platform / Release Engineer specializing in CI/CD platforms, infrastructure, and secure software delivery. I design and build CI/CD ecosystems based on industry best practices, with a strong focus on security engineering. I implement secure-by-design infrastructure and GitHub Actions pipelines aligned with internal security policies and Build Environment (BE) security requirements. I have successfully led security readiness efforts, passing formal security assessments for multiple environments (3 BEs, 24 requirement controls). I have led large-scale CI/CD transformations, including migration from legacy systems (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket) to GitHub Actions, building standardized and reusable workflows, and managing containerized self-hosted runners. In addition, I actively incorporate AI into engineering workflows—developing organization-level custom Copilot agents to automate pipeline creation, enforce best practices, and support repository and CI/CD migration at scale. My core focus is on reliability, security, and developer productivity—building platforms that enable fast, compliant, and scalable software delivery.
