About Serra Salgut

I graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Department of Environmental Engineering in the Spring Semester of 2022. Since I wanted to focus on areas where I could improve myself during my education and after school, the courses I chose were focused on design and projects. My internship experiences, which I completed in different sectors, have provided me with knowledge of legislations and regulations, environmental risk assessment and analysis skills, as well as practical work and sector-oriented problem solving skills.Thanks to the field I worked within the scope of my graduation project, I gained experience in Remote Sensing, where my department meets with creative thinking. This experience allowed me to gain coding knowledge and geographic information systems knowledge.I see myself as someone who can work fast, likes to solve problems and has an entrepreneurial spirit. One of my biggest goals is to have a career where I can think outside the box, be creative and improve myself-Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi’nden Çevre Mühendisliği bölümünden 2022 Bahar Döneminde mezun oldum. Eğitimim boyunca okul sonrasında da kendimi geliştirebileceğim alanlara yönelmek istediğim için, seçtiğim dersler tasarım ve proje ağırlıklı oldu. Farklı sektörlerde tamamladığım staj deneyimlerim bana mevzuat ve yönetmelik bilgisi, çevre risk değerlendirmesi ve analiz becerileri kazandırmanın yanında pratik çalışma ve sektör odaklı problem çözme yetenekleri de kazandırdı.Bitirme projem kapsamında çalıştığım alan sayesinde, bölümümün yaratıcı bir düşünce ile buluştuğu Uzaktan Algılama konusunda deneyim edindim. Bu deneyim bana kod bilgisi ve coğrafi bilgi sistemleri bilgisi kazanmamı sağladı. Kendimi hızlı çalışabilen, problem çözmeyi seven ve girişimci ruha sahip biri olarak görüyorum. Kutunun dışından düşünebileceğim, yaratıcı olacağım ve kendimi geliştirebileceğim bir kariyer hedefliyorum.
