I am a highly self-motivated and tenacious achiever. Favorite quote:"Impossible is nothing." I never give up. For example, I gained Mandarin Chinese fluency in a 6 month period for my 2 year ministry in Taiwan. At the start of my trip, I didn't know a single word of Chinese and that really scared me, but I persevered and didn't let a single day go by without studying the language in some way. I still study it to this day. I am firm believer in living the golden rule because I know the importance of building rapport and maintaining relationships of trust with every person I come in contact with. They might be one of my clients or customers some day, or they will help me get where I want to be in my professional career path. However, in order to do this, it's important to see people as people and not objects to facilitate or hinder my goal achieving. Therefore, being true to character and integrity are very important to me. I pay attention to detail and do not stop a task until completed. I am also imaginative and employ the power of knowledge whenever I see fit. I manage with a plan so I can hold myself accountable. Failing to plan is planning to fail. I like to do what matters most first and then pursue the easier tasks as follows. Sitting idly by while there is plenty of work and constructive activities to do to strengthen my skills and sharpen my mind is unacceptable and not an option. I like to improve myself in some way everyday so I can fine-tune my unique skillset. Most importantly, I lead with a vision. Without one, I am just aimlessly wondering around with no purpose. My vision is to become a highly skilled International Mandarin Chinese speaking liaison for an American based company so I can interface with the Chinese and maintain my bi-lingual speaking ability.
