About Seth Dendy

I worked as a buyer for Plasticard Locktech International Asheville from November 2022 through July 2023, where I was a part of a mass layoff, as the company has chosen to focus exclusively on hospitality and keycard products. My responsibilities included creating spreadsheet reports that tracked our material usage consisting of paper, PVC, RFID chips, etc. I was tasked with working with our estimating, planning and scheduling leaders to order and track materials up to six months out. I tracked cost savings, created business relationships with new suppliers to find the highest quality products for the most competitive pricing, and focused on supporting small minority and women-owned businesses. I worked at Cooperriis from March 2018 until February 2023, where I acquired a number of skills and training including; suicide prevention, crisis prevention and intervention, HIPAA certification, and CPR. I worked directly with individuals in recovery with the aim to see them have a happy, successful life. At UNCA I earned my business management degree with a focus on corporate finance where I graduated with honors. I earned my computer networking degree from Blue Ridge Community College in 2018, where I consistently maintained a 4.0 degree. I value my skills in making connections with new people and feeling comfortable in many environments. I make the effort to empathize and understand my coworkers, superiors and those who hold different views and values than myself. My hobbies include; mountain biking, fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, cooking, and disc golf.
