I have come to love writing SQL and visualizing the data. There is a thrill in getting absorbed in the code and getting it right, and seeing the efficiency benefits to the team from reports I've created. Being a user and developer has provided valuable insight to make reporting efficient and directs the users to the issues. I have learned about Manufacturing Industrial engineering by doing. I know how to create, compile, and report on budgets, consumable use, and tool capacity requirements. I use these skills to present capital requests for tool purchases to Fab Directors. I use these skills when collaborating with Finance to request budgets for weekly material purchases. I use these skills when collaborating with purchasing on volume of materials needed. I have learned project management skills and leading cross functional teams. I have ran multiple cost reduction teams involving multiple areas. Together we identified where the best cost reductions can be made and pushed projects to reduce those costs. Together we saved millions of dollars per year for the company.
