Hello! My name is Seth Hendricks. I am a Sophomore Finance major in the Red McCombs Business School within UT. I am currently working as a Part-Time Stylist at Buck Mason as well as a Finance Operations Intern at Texas Hill Country Provisions. I work at the South Congress location here in Austin, TX for Buck Mason, and at Texas Hill Country’s HQ in South Austin. My job at Buck Mason is to sell our product to the customers as they come into the store, delivering our World Class Experience to every customer that walks in our door, which is a culmination of great hospitality, deep knowledge about the company and the product we make, and genuine care for the customer's tastes and preferences. I also manage inventory, ensuring that there is always the correct size runs and products on the selling floor to maintain peak sales. In this, I am being taught all the ins and outs of sales trends, managerial dynamics, team building, consumer trends, and quality control by my managers. At THC, I am being taught everything there is to know about financial modeling, forecasting, accounting, and critical decision-making in a business setting. I hope to use the teaching and knowledge that I am receiving at Buck Mason and at Texas Hill Country to aid in fueling my future consulting career!
