About Seth Melching

I must admit, I was "late to the party" when it came to my studies. While some would see this to be a hinderance in progress, I found it to be the right path for me. Not only did it allow me to carry on with my studies being the number one priority; we all know the college stereotype, but also gave me the time to acknowledge what I wanted to do post-university. Since, I have gone on to graduate from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Construction Management while also receiving Minors in both Real Estate and Business. This rounded education has allowed me to not only grow into the individual that I want be, but has afforded me the opportunity to flourish in an industry that I love. I've always been a haptic learner, and while the management side of construction does not necessarily involve using my hands, it is the past and present experiences/hobbies that have allowed me to quickly visualize the wanted outcome and be prepared for the next challenge. In the time before college there have been a slew of different jobs/experiences that I have been involved in. After high school I worked as a valet/concierge for a large high-end hotel in my hometown; this led to becoming a shift manager for those positions. When it was time to move on, I packed my bags for the west and ended up in Northern Colorado. Immediately after the move I became a car salesman handling both the internet sales and foot traffic that would come into our store. It was after a few years in this job that I had the realization that this isn't my plan and I decided to enroll back into school at the ripe age of 26. During my time in university, I worked as both an Autotech at Best Buy installing car electronics, followed by becoming a server for a popular chain restaurant where I was employed until COVID-19 hit. After being laid off due to the pandemic, I began my internship with the company that I continue to work for today.
