About Seth Taylor

I am currently a student at Anderson University, and I am double majoring in Cybersecurity and Mathematics with a minor in Computer Programming. My current jobs are working at Anderson University's fitness center as a recreation assistant and at the IT Helpdesk as a student worker. I am currently involved in the Cybersecurity club, and I participate in Capture the Flag competitions over the school year in that club. Last school year despite being a freshman and creating a new team, we scored the top 1% in the National Cyber League CTF. In addition, I am currently working on getting my Security+ and CCP certifications by the end of the semester. I have also worked with a research opportunity during the summer with the NIH R25 research program where I studied the use of machine learning to help detect early onset of Alzheimer's through audio. In the past, I have worked in volunteering efforts such as being the Technology Coordinator for the TEDxYouth@Columbia division. There we worked to serve the youth of South Carolina hosting multiple events such as college fairs, and holding one of the first ever intercontinental TEDx events. In the span of the same year I also had the opportunity to be a part of the MIT Beaverworks Summer Institute. There I lead and worked on a team that was securing and programming a bootloader and server to provide updates to an automatons vehicle.
