As an Engineering Technician at Daikin Applied Americas, I assist engineers in operating and testing prototype chillers in a laboratory setting. I have expertise in programming logic controllers, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment installation. I am passionate about software development and learning new languages and technologies. Equipped with technical proficiency in Python, Linux, PLC’s, and data visualization, I possess a well-rounded skillset to work with. I am currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Computer and Electronics Technology at Blue Ridge Community College, where I am gaining hands-on experience in programming, hardware design, and network administration. I have already received a four-year technical degree in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration engineering technology. I am currently seeking opportunities as a software engineer, where I can utilize my analytical mindset, collaborative nature, and technical proficiency to make a meaningful impact.
