About Seth Wilson

Growing up, my father, who was an active investor, started a Roth IRA for me, along with one each for my brother and sister. He would handle the investments, but he would also show us what he was investing in. This piqued my interest in finance at an early age. Then, when I was in the 7th grade, my math teacher had us play the stock market game. After that, I was hooked on finance and the markets. That was 25 years ago, but I am still as passionate today as I was in 1995 about finance and the ability to positively affect people's lives. I grew up just outside of Evansville in Haubstadt, IN. I went to college at the University of Evansville, where I was an active member of campus, involved in Sigma Phi Epsilon, Delta Sigma Pi and other campus organizations. I graduated with a degree in business administration in 2004. Later, I went on to earn an MBA from Ball State University. I hold the Series 7 and 66 registrations, along with the life and health licenses. In addition, I am a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). Now, in my early 40's, I get to live that passion for finance and positively affect my clients' lives daily. My objective is to get to know my clients better, help them identify and define their goals and then help set them on a path to meet those goals. One of the best and most rewarding feelings we receive is the sight of our clients' goals becoming a reality. I had worked for Edward Jones early on in my financial advising career but left to pursue what I thought was greener pastures. What I discovered was that Edward Jones cares about its clients and its advisors as well. As a father of three, I knew I wanted to work with a firm that invests as much in its advisors as they do their clients. Additionally, my approach with being client service driven aligns perfectly with Edward Jones' approach. The answer was clear – it was time to come back home to Edward Jones. I am blessed with an incredible family. My lovely wife, Stephanie, and I have three beautiful children. They are Penelope (8), Henry (6) and Abigail (4). We live in McCordsville and we are very active within our church, St. Simon the Apostle. I enjoy being active and playing/watching sports, baseball and football in particular. I also enjoy riding jet skis and anything on a beach. Feel free to give us a call!
