About Sethu Viswanathan

I am a Sr Supply Chain Manager at Amazon with over 13 years of experience in supply chain management, business analysis, and industrial engineering. I hold a Micro Masters in Supply Chain Management from MIT, as well as a Master's Degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Iowa State University. My core competencies include data-driven decision making, process improvement, project management, and stakeholder management. In my current role, I lead a supply chain innovation program called Vendor Flex, which leverages Amazon's capabilities and technologies to optimize the fulfillment of products from third-party vendors. I have end-to-end ownership of the performance and metrics of 30+ Vendor Flex sites across the US, ensuring that they meet or exceed Amazon's standards and expectations. I also spearhead 2-3 key initiatives or projects that drive step-change improvements in Vendor Flex network efficiency, such as redesigning the inventory health strategy, implementing new tools and systems, and developing best practices and training materials. My mission is to create value for customers, partners, and stakeholders through innovation, optimization, and collaboration.
