About Seyrona McLean
In May of 2020, I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. During my time at UMD, I held various leadership roles in the Charles R Drew Pre-Health Society, the Adventist Student Fellowship, and the Health and Education Relief Organization. Following graduation, I completed a Graduate Certificate program at the George Washington University Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. I currently work as a medical assistant at Centennial Medical Group where I am able to interact with a diverse patient population. I have hopes of participating in a MD/MHA duel degree program while in medical school. With an interest in health equity, I hope to become a physician and advocate focused on improving access to quality healthcare for minority populations and medically underserved communities.
