Supervising a team of Accounting Specialists and Senior Accounting Specialists to ensure high quality deliverables are provided to all relevant stakeholders within the agreed timescales. Overseing service delivery and the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all standards are met and procedures are followed. Establishing priorities and schedules of main activities Addressing audit findings to improve compliance and accuracy of transaction processing Support other departments by providing timely and accurate feedback on various requests; Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Prepare and reconcile all accruals and deferred revenues and expenses Organizing the bookings specific to the year-end closing and preparing / verifying the documentation related to the annual inventory procedure. Preparing the Half-year Financial Reporting and Annual Financial Statements, depending on the case. Ensureing the external audit support. Preparing management reports, depending on the management’s requests. Preparing and submiting tax returns (VAT, Corporate tax, WHT, D394, D390, D301, Intrastat, etc) and making sure that submission of all required documents and declarations will always be on time; Involved in preparing and updating accounting and finance procedures of the company and making sure that the accounting compliance is in line with local legislation and group accounting standards;
