About Shady Alwakeel

I’m a Technical Sales Manager at REDA Chemicals with a solid industrial background in electroplating, surface treatment, and polymer metallization. I specialize in plating aluminum, iron, Zamak, brass, and ABS polymers, with a particular focus on the electroplating of ABS—both in production and in research.I have hands-on expertise in advanced finishing processes, including cathodic electrodeposition, grey nickel, semi-bright and bright nickel, acid and cyanide copper, chrome plating, cold acidic galvanization, and silver plating. I manage both manual and automated plating lines, ensuring stable performance, high quality, and cost-effective operation. My strengths include bath analysis, process optimization, troubleshooting, and upgrading processes to meet customer and industrial demands.I also support integrated surface finishing operations—vibratory finishing, grinding and polishing systems, and automated washing units—in addition to experience in electrostatic coating, giving me a full view of the finishing workflow.Alongside my industry role, I’m pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemistry at Ain Shams University, where my research focuses on palladium-free ABS electroplating. This work strengthens my technical foundation and enhances the solutions I deliver to customers, combining scientific insight with practical experience.
