Growing up I have always been that kid who would go to everyone's house and bring all the kids together to play outside, something which isn’t very common nowadays. However, that brought up a really tough problem that I had to find a solution to which was, who is going to bring the ball to play cricket? And that’s how I realized how much I enjoyed being in a situation where I got an opportunity to try and find different solutions for a problem. And that’s how my journey started which made me decide to pursue my bachelor's in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University so I can use the drive I have always had and the education experience to build the bridge between the business and technology sector. While working as a Credit Analyst and later as a Product Operations Analyst at Upstart, which is one of the leading fin-tech companies I was able to use my past experience and education to help establish the Product Operations team while also consistently working on finding various ways to improve the product issues. A huge part of my day-to-day included working with different types of data and finding ways to use that data to improve processes and product features but often I ran into situations where I realized I have some more room to learn and grow, which is why I have decided to go back to school to do Masters of Science in Information Technology and Business Analytics from Golden Gate University. In the past, I have been lucky enough to be part of organizations that have allowed me to have an impact since day one while providing me with ample amounts of learning and growth opportunities. As an aspiring IT professional in my next career opportunity, I look to be a part of a fast paced environment where I get to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures. As much of a good decision-maker I am at times I struggle to decide how many cups of coffee I want to drink, other than that I would say I’m pretty decisive. Lastly, I think I could be pretty entertaining at work as I bring my bathroom singing skills with me.
