About Shaheena Ebrahim

I have over 11 years’ experience in the retail industry with extensive exposure to Business and Systems Analysis which is critical in translating business needs into Functional Requirements (being the ultimate link between business & IT).I started off as a Support Specialist and was soon moved to a Systems Analyst role. My main purpose in this role was to analyse, test and assist with business related queries which led to a natural progression in me becoming an SME in this area. Having an appetite for learning new things and growing my skill set and knowledge base, I made a change from a Systems Analyst to a Business Process Analyst which exposed me to new areas of the business. I have 6 years’ experience in Business Process Analysis and 5 years of Systems Analysis experience and can make the transition easily between the two roles depending on the need. I have recently been tasked to represent our team in Australia for 2 months where we were tasked to coordinate testing across 3 different vendors. During this period I had to fulfill both roles across the two projects. I have completed my Diploma in Business Analysis at FTI where I have graduated with a distinction. My vibrant personality allows me to engage and build successful relationships with people from all walks of life. I enjoy helping others and have been a mentor to students which have been assigned to projects as part of their internship. I give great attention to detail which has been developed through years of exposure to analysis and design from working on various projects and understanding what is required to be a successful Business Analyst.
