About Shaily Ailsinghani

As a kid I always wanted to be a Spy, well mostly because I believed they get to live a different day everyday. Growing up I realized it's just my curiosity to learn something new everyday, which not only lead me towards computer science as my chosen stream of studies & work, but also made me a passionate reader. I specialize in everything web related. I think my favourite stage of a project is problem solving, I believe every problem can be solved but solving it quickly can be a challenge. I believe in the phrase 'First Solve the problem, then code'. I have built up a proven record of system analysis, design, development, and leadership, as well as an expertise in object-oriented software development. I have become an accomplished problem solver in building software modules with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. My role as a senior principal software engineer in Pepperfry not only includes coding but also includes leading a team, working closely with the product managers trying to better the platform for customers at every aspect. I would consider myself as a part time developer & a part time product manager. I am working on managing priorities, intelligently balancing different aspects of life, delivering the job with minimum resources with a quality level is what helps an individual sustain in this competitive industry. I’ve applied all of these strategies for achieving goals and delivering complex modules for which my work was well appreciated & I had received a nomination for employee of the year in 2022. Through out my career, I have worked with many technologies like Core PHP, NodeJs, MYSQL, jQuery, MongoDb, Redis, Solr. My specialities also include learning new skills & programming languages, problem solving, website optimization, designing & upgrading the architecture. I have started learning python, react, ExpressJs, typescript. I still consider that I have a long way to go & hence my learning never stops which includes other programming languages & frameworks or life in general.
