Shaini Verdon is the organiser & Yoga teacher at Yogaion retreats. She is an introductory level 2 IYENGAR® yoga teacher & before that also certified herself in Hatha and Anusara Yoga. Her love for yoga started in the year after being in the field of dancing, fitness & martial arts since a very young age and always having big philosophical questions about life. Following different yoga styles, her heart eventually lay with IYENGAR® Yoga. She is immensely fascinated by how the human body moves & the inner workings of the mind & feels that awareness, movement & mindful meditation are one of the best ways to live a more fulfilled life so that you can enjoy the things you really love. She is also a certified FRC® mobility specialist and is currently studying to become a corrective exercise specialist to add functionality, therapeutics & mobility to the practice & a greater sense of awareness through movement therapy. Besides being a movement teacher she is also does all the marketing, website creation, organising & logistics at Yogaion retreats.
