My interests lie at the intersection of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA). As a preterm infant who overcame early medical challenges with the support of my family and dedicated healthcare professionals at SickKids (NICU), I developed a lifelong dedication to advocating for underserved and underrepresented communities. This includes individuals living with neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions, as well as neonatal/preterm births, BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ populations. With over a decade of experience across education, healthcare, and the nonprofit sector, I’ve held diverse leadership roles such as Assistant Supervisor, Behaviour Therapist, Case Manager, ESL Teacher, and Program Coordinator. My work is grounded in compassion, inclusion, and creating lasting impact. Colleagues and supervisors have recognized me as a natural leader with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. I’m a detail-oriented problem solver, a collaborative team player, and an eager learner with expertise in program coordination, team management, data analysis, and administrative operations. Beyond work, I enjoy reading, watching films, skating (roller and ice), traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
