About Shakir Jeeva

Dr. Shakir Jeeva is an experienced leader and CEO, a multi-award-winning South African banking, financial and investment subject matter expert, hospitality and tourism business expert and owner, and the head of a private wealth and financial services firm. He is the founder and CEO of a licensed and registered financial advisory and brokerage firm providing conventional and Shariah-compliant services in private wealth management, insurance (short term and life), investment, financial planning, digital and smart finance consulting. Dr. Jeeva is also the CEO of one of South Africa’s most successful Halal-compliant and privately-owned four and five-star collection of game reserves, hotels and boutique lodges. Dr. Jeeva is a board member of a number of companies, including one of South Africa’s business conglomerate groups with subsidiaries and interests in energy and utilities, tourism and hospitality, wholesaling and retailing, and real estate development. He obtained three postgraduate qualifications in a time span shorter than a decade between 2015, including two Masters degrees and a PHD, and he was the recipient of the Golden Key Award for outstanding academic achievements, winner of top final year student and received the Sanlam Rhodes Investment award, and has received several international awards for tourism and hospitality. Dr. Jeeva has also completed Islamic studies including Hafiz of Quran.
