About Shalom Rios

With over eight years of experience in the automotive industry, I am passionate about improving, implementing, and innovating manufacturing processes and products. As the Engineering Group Lead for the Aluminum Processing Department at Honda Development and Manufacturing of America in Georgia, I oversee the engineering activities and capital investment projects for the production of transmission components.My core competencies include manufacturing engineering, Project Management, RCA, Data Analysis and Comprehention, PSDM analysis. I am also versed in 4 Axis CNC, Fanuc Robotics, Fanuc Vision, PLC programing and troubleshooting. I have successfully led and supported capital investment projects, new model implementation through its life cycle, training and development of incoming associates as well as mentoring of CO-OP and newly hired engineers, cutting trials, design of measuring gages, CNC programming, data analysis, and equipment reliability improvement. I enjoy working as part of a team to ensure daily production goals are met and quality standards are maintained. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to challenge myself with new opportunities and problems.
